Your child is your world. Here's what their first visit will be like, step by step, so you both arrive relaxed and excited.

Talk about the visit naturally and positively: "we're going so they can count your teeth and show you how to take care of them." Avoid words like pain, shot or nothing bad will happen; kids hear exactly what we don't want them to hear.
💡 If you've already played "dentist" at home, counting teeth with a mirror, the visit will feel familiar.
The first visit is a moment everyone wants to share, and we get it: mom, dad, siblings and grandparents can come into the treatment room. It's roomy and comfortable for two companions and fits up to five people including children. If more come along, the waiting room has toys so nobody gets bored.
When you arrive, our team welcomes you, confirms the details you gave us when booking, and within minutes you go in to see the pediatric dentist.

We don't start with the mouth, we start with the child. The pediatric dentist introduces herself, shows them the room and lets them explore at their own pace. We explain everything before we do it, so nothing surprises them.
At a first visit we usually do a full exam, X-rays only if needed, and a conversation with you to answer all your questions. If the visit is preventive and the pediatric dentist sees the child is cooperative, she may do the cleaning or a simple treatment that same day; she always explains first and you decide.
🍼 With babies: the exam is done 100% with your support, in your arms, lying on your lap or on a special baby bed. A little crying is normal.
We tell you what may happen during the visit, including whether they're likely to cry a little, and what to expect afterward. We protect their experience because going to the dentist is something they'll do for life, and we want them to remember it without fear. The decisions are always yours, with the pediatric dentist's guidance.

Every child leaves with a prize, even if it was just a check-up, and hears the phrase that's a tradition here: "You did it, brave one! Your smile changes the world." With your permission, we take a photo to celebrate their bravery. Before you go, the pediatric dentist gives you their plan: what she found, what she recommends and when to come back.
Come when the first tooth appears or by their first birthday. The visit is done with you and your support: we show you how to clean their gums and teeth.
The age of exploring. We let them touch, look and ask. If they just climb into the chair and open their mouth, we've already won; the rest comes on its own.
They understand and want to know. We involve them in caring for their teeth, explaining things to them directly, so they grow up knowing how to take care of themselves.
We treat them like the grown-ups they already are: we talk directly with them, respect their space and involve them in their dental health so they become adults responsible for their own oral prevention.
Tell us when booking or on arrival. We won't force them: the first visit can be just meeting us, sitting in the chair and counting teeth with the mirror. Sometimes it takes more than one visit to earn their trust, and that's okay. What matters is that next time they come without fear.
If your child has a condition or special need, such as autism, ADHD or sensitivity to lights, sounds or smells, tell us when booking: we prepare the room and the way we care for them with your child in mind.
You matter too: if you're calm, they notice. We'll guide you every step of the way.
